Dear New Undergraduate Students:

We are very pleased that you’ve joined American University and our great city of Washington, D.C.

I hope you will enjoy this brief video message welcoming you to campus and showcasing some of the things that make AU special.

During your time here, you will learn that the AU “spirit” combines opportunities for academics, activism, and global awareness. I hope that you will take advantage of the many resources and opportunities that AU offers.

Please join me at Opening Convocation on Friday, August 24, to formally kick off the academic year and at Celebrate AU on Monday, August 27, to meet other members of the AU community.
