Sheila Bedford

Department of Accounting and Taxation
- Professor Bedford teaches financial accounting, managerial and intermediate accounting, corporate financial reporting and financial statement analysis at the undergraduate and graduate level. She has extensive industry accounting experience in the real estate business, and served in senior financial management roles with Marriott International and as the controller for The Golf Academy LLC. Her responsibilities in industry have included financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning and budgeting, implementation of accounting policies and controls, and the valuation of acquisition opportunities and financing programs. She began her career in public accounting with Ernst & Whinney.
