• Derek Bowley holds an MA in theatre education and a BM in music therapy. As a musical director and theatre educator Derek has worked locally with the Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, MetroStage, Adventure Theatre, Theater J, Creative Artists Institute and Creative Cauldron, and nationally with North Shore Music Theatre, iTheatrics and Music Theatre International. Previous work with American University includes Back There. Derek is the middle school speech and drama teacher at The Congressional Schools of Virginia in Falls Church.
