Ali Enayat

  • Ali Enayat is an emeritus Professor of Mathematics at American University . He worked as a full-time faculty at AU during September 1987 to May 2013, except for his periods of sabbatical/research leave.

    Enayat grew up in Tehran, Iran until the end of High School (1976). He received his B.S. degree from Iowa State University (1979), and his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics (1984) from the University of Wisconsin (Madison), under the direction of Ken Kunen. He was a faculty member at Western Illinois University during 1984-1985, and at San Jose State University (California) during 1985-1987.
