Gregory Hunt

- Gregory A. Hunt, a member of the adjunct faculty of the Department of Justice, Law and Society, works in the conduct and development of research and training programs in the field of community corrections. During his 20 year tenure as a US Probation Officer, he served as a representative for all the federal probation officers to the United States Sentencing Commission during the development of the federal sentencing guidelines. From 1995-99, Prof. Hunt served on the US Sentencing Commission's Probation Officers Advisory Board and, in 1997, was elected Chairperson of the Board. He joined American University upon his retirement in 1999, and recently completed an evaluation of the substance abuse treatment services provided to federal probationers and parolees. Currently, Prof. Hunt is developing the ACES Clinical Program with Prof. Aaron Lucas.
