Carla Grantham is a veteran professional who owns over 25 years of experience and various certifications in strategic organizational and talent management and integrated communications work involving Executive Office and Legislative Branch officials and public and social sector senior executives. Prof Grantham is currently the Congressional Liaison for Coast Guard Diversity Recruitment Strategies. Carla retired in 2007 from the U.S. Coast Guard after completing over 22 years of military service. Her Active Duty positions included performance as the Deputy Director of Leadership and Professional Development; Executive Speechwriter to the Commandant of the Coast Guard – the organization’s CEO equivalent --; Director, White House Finance and Budget Management; and, as the Chief of Human Resources for the Coast Guard’s most geographically and culturally-diverse operational district. Prof Grantham is certified both as a Diversity Professional and as an Administrator of the Myers Briggs Type (MBTI) Indicator. Prof Grantham is a highly sought-after trainer, facilitator and public speaker and is an active supporter of both the Leader to Leader Institute and Human Capital Institute (HCI).
