Joshua Hatch

- Josh Hatch is an adjunct professor of Journalism. He is the Senior Editor for Data and Interactives at The Chronicle of Higher Education. Before that, he worked at the Sunlight Foundation and was the Interactives Director at USA TODAY. Joshua began his journalism career as a newspaper reporter, moving on to such other jobs as section editor, online editor, animation producer, and multimedia producer. He works with reporters, editors, designers and producers to create interactive multimedia projects that make the most out of text, video, audio, photos, data, and more. He says it’s a fun and challenging job that combines journalism and technology and ensures he’ll always learn and have fun at the same time. Joshua lives in Arlington, Va., with his wife, daughter and two spoiled Labrador retrievers.
