    SPA Director of Leadership
  • Professor Marr, an Assistant Professor of Justice, Law and Criminology, was named Director of the SPA Leadership Program in April 2008. The Leadership Program is a four-year certificate Program established in 1990 to give students the knowledge, skills and experience to assume leadership roles in public service. Prof. Marr brings more than two decades of experience in undergraduate teaching, law practice, and social activism.
    Before coming to AU, she taught at the University of California at Santa Cruz, Jose State University, Butler University and McGeorge School of Law. She has enjoyed teaching a wide variety of law and public policy courses including: Children and the Law; Justice, Law and the Constitution; Gay Rights and the Law; and Law and Social Issues. When not engrossed in teaching, Marr enjoys following women’s basketball and adventuring in the outdoors.
