Claudia Myers is a full-time professor of Film and Media Arts. She wrote and directed the feature, "Fort Bliss" starring Michelle Monaghan and Ron Livingston, which was released internationally in 2014 and won several awards. Prior to this she wrote and directed Kettle of Fish, which won a Nickelodeon Screenwriting Award and was cited as a standout romantic comedy in David Carr’s The New York Times festival overview. Below the Beltway, a feature film she produced, won the audience award at the Newport Beach Film Festival. She co-wrote Wild Oats, which won second place at the 2004 Slamdance Screenplay Competition. The film stars Shirley MacLaine, Jessica Lange and Demi Moore and will be released this fall by the Weinstein Company. Myers currently has three feature projects in development. Her films and screenplays have won more than a dozen awards in the last several years and screened at numerous festivals both nationally and overseas.
