  • Dr. Natalia Ruiz-Junco does research on interpretation, social interaction, culture and social change. She has the following research and teaching interests: classical and contemporary social theories; interactionist and interpretive theories; qualitative methods; self and society; identity; social movements; and the sociology of emotions. She has a long-standing interest in Spain, and more concretely, in Spanish and Latino mobilizations. Currently, she is working on a book on interactionist theory and the emotions.
