Senior Academic Counselor
CAS Undergraduate Advising
Anne works with students intending to major in economics, biology and student-athletes in CAS.
Anne started at AU as an advisor to students learning English while working on her master’s degree. Her plan was to move on after completing the degree. She completed the degree more than 20 years ago. Since then she has also been an academic counselor for the non-degree programs and in the School of Public Affairs. Her family has attachments to the University as well. Her wedding was in Kay Spiritual Center and her daughter attended the Child Development Center. Her daughter preferred to attend college further from home and not where her mother's office window looked out on the center of the campus.
Before coming to American, Anne was a ski lift operator in Vail, Colorado, taught English in Idaho, and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, West Africa.
When not working or attending a play or game at AU, she enjoys being outdoors hiking, biking or playing sports.
