Blaine Stum graduated from Gonzaga University in 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science and is currently pursuing his Master's in Political Science at American University School of Public Affairs. Prior to joining the Justice Programs Office, Blaine worked for three and a half years as a Legislative Assistant for Councilmembers at the City of Spokane. He also served for nearly two years as Chair of the City of Spokane Human Rights Commission, where he worked on projects dealing with ban the box, police accountability, hate crimes, victim advocacy, civil rights for incarcerated populations, and decriminalization of homelessness. Blaine is originally from Spokane, Washington.
