Kailey Corken

  • Corken joined the Academic Support Center and the American University staff as the Assistant Counselor for Student-Athletes in August 2012. In 2009, Corken earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Alabama in Spanish. While attending The University of Alabama, she competed on the Women’s Soccer Team. After graduating, Kailey moved to Madrid, Spain to work as a Bilingual English Teacher. In 2012, Corken earned a Master of Science in Education from the University of Dayton in College Student Personnel. During graduate school, Corken served as: Academic Coordinator Intern with the Office of Academic Services for Student-Athletes, Instructor of the Academic Renewal and Coaching Course for the Office of Student Learning Services, and Instructor of the College Skills Course for the Dayton Early College Academy.
