• Adell Crowe joined the OCL staff in October '11. She was previously an SOC staffer after spending 30 years at Gannett Co. Inc. first as a reporter at The Tennessean in Nashville and later at USA TODAY where she was Standards and Development Editor. She created and led USA TODAY’s in-house training program USATU and taught a number of classes including a multi-session staff-wide grammar program. She taught Basic Newswriting at George Washington University for nine years. And despite how nerdy it sounds, finds grammar, punctuation and style fascinating.
