• Emily became American University’s Sustainability Coordinator in July, 2010. She is responsible for improving sustainability throughout campus operations and heads up AU's efforts as one of the first universities in the world using LEED Volume to pursue LEED certification for 25 of AU's existing buildings. She holds the LEED AP O+M credential.
  
  Before joining the Office of Sustainability she coordinated K-12 and higher ed energy efficiency education as a Project Manager at the Alliance to Save Energy.
  
  She recently graduated from American University's School of International Service with an MA in Global Environmental Policy.
