• Tasha manages the Public Service Work Study Program. She guides students through the process of earning their Federal Work Study (FWS) awards through part-time employment in the public service sector. She creates partnerships with local nonprofit and government organizations that offer students opportunities to earn their FWS awards while gaining hands-on experience. Tasha also supervises the Career Center’s Peer Advisors, who promote and deliver career services to students. Before joining the Career Center in February 2008, Tasha worked in AU’s Center for Community Engagement and Service. She originally relocated from North Carolina to Washington, D.C. to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA.
