• Deborah DeMille-Wagman joined the staff at the Academic Support Center in October 2005. Working as a part-time academic support counselor is a second career for her. Previously, DeMille-Wagman was a lawyer in the field of court administration. While taking a career break to raise children, she became interested in special education and how people learn. After taking graduate classes and tutoring students privately, she eagerly joined the staff at American University, where she works primarily with adult and graduate students.
