Tyler is currently completing her doctorate in combined Counseling/School Psychology at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and received her Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her previous clinical training included positions working with students and community members in Tallahassee and Birmingham at a university counseling center, student disability resource center, comprehensive career center, hospital psychiatric unit, substance abuse rehabilitation clinic, elementary school, and a mental health center. Special interests include approaching counseling from a psychodynamic perspective with interpersonal components, mental health needs of college students and adults, adjustment issues, anxiety and depressive disorders, identity development, and interpersonal relationship concerns.
