Geoffrey Campbell

Geoff Campbell manages marketing and communication for the School of Professional & Extended Studies at American University
Significant areas of support include assisting with the development and implementation of strategic communication planning for the School and collaborating on marketing for over a dozen undergraduate, graduate and executive education programs, including outreach and management of vendors.

Before coming to AU, Geoff worked in enrollment marketing across multiple channels (including through email marketing, social media management, and paid advertising) for private K-12 schools. Recently, he led an inbound marketing initiative that included lead nurturing, optimizing user experience, and digital media advertising that helped improve institutional KPIs. This project was featured in the Council for Support and Advancement of Education (CASE)’s CURRENT magazine.

Before working in educational marketing, Geoff earned a Master of Science in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, took supplemental courses in web writing and visual storytelling, and interned in Syracuse University’s Office of Public Affairs and the Community Relations Unit at the University of Virginia.

In 2011, Geoff began his professional career in the Marketing and Communications Office at Mount Allison University, where he also earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.
