Critical Race, Gender and Culture Studies Collaborative
Taylor Heath is the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Critical Race, Gender, and Culture Collaborative in the College of Arts and Sciences. She has served in this position since April 2017 and is committed to serving the diverse and important programs under the CRGC umbrella. Her work includes coordinating events involving distinguished guest speakers discussing political and social issues as well as current events; scheduling the dozens of courses offered under the six programs; or engaging with students one-on-one. Prior to becoming the Senior Admin Assistant, she served as the Program Coordinator for the University College, AU's oldest first-year living-learning community. She has also served in other departments in a student staff capacity at American University including Housing and Dining Programs as a two-year resident assistant for second-year, transfer, and international students in Centennial Hall. She holds two Bachelors of Arts from American University in Sociology and Political Science, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Sociology. During her limited free time, Taylor enjoys reading ethnographies, cooking, and spotting cats.
