• Dr. Charrise de Vera Hipol provides individual and group psychotherapy using an integrative theoretical approach. Prior to coming to American University, Dr. Hipol worked at university counseling centers in Boston, MA and Denver, CO. Her clinical interests include identity development, multicultural issues, anxiety disorders, interpersonal relationship problems, and women’s issues. Dr. Hipol received her doctorate from the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology.
