Dr. Jacquelin Darby is a postdoctoral fellow at the AU Counseling Center where she provides individual and group counseling services, crisis intervention services, and outreach services. Prior to her accepting a position at AU, she completed her APA-accredited internship at Howard University Counseling Services located in Washington DC. Her special interests include: substance use issues, body image concerns (specifically the effects of colorism), effects of systemic oppression on individuals, group therapy, and interpersonal trauma. Dr. Darby works from an integrative model grounded in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
