Joy Adams in front of Bender Library
Joy Adams is a broadly trained human geographer with research specializations in ethnic geography, tourism studies, qualitative methods, and the North American culture region (U.S. and Canada). After teaching at the university level for eight years, she served as a senior researcher at the Association of American Geographers for three years before changing careers to work as an instructional designer.
Joy joined the staff of AU's e-Learning Support Services office in May 2015. She is available to consult with faculty and staff on course design and development, instructional technology, and online pedagogy.
