Kevin Stewart is a Research Specialist at the Justice Programs Office. Prior to joining the JPO, he worked as a Statistical Analyst for the Maryland Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention (GOCCP). At GOCCP, he conducted in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis on criminal justice and public safety initiatives. In the past, he also worked as a Research Assistant on George Mason University’s National Institute of Drug Abuse study, which focused on crime hot spots and drug markets in Baltimore City, Maryland. Kevin earned a Masters in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore in 2014 and a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology and Anthropology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Towson University in 2011.
