Mana Zarinejad serves as Director of the International Affairs Research Institute at the School of International Service at American University. In this capacity, she supports and advises scholars at the School of International Service as they seek to operationalize their research plans, including identifying opportunities for collaboration with organizations (and collaborators) outside of the university, financing their research, and disseminating their research. Moreover, she works with external groups interested in learning more about the interdisciplinary research at the School of International Service. She previously worked for the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS), Friends of Chris Dodd (political campaign), and the American Bankruptcy Institute. She earned her B.A. in Journalism and English at the University of Connecticut and is currently working on her M.A. in International Development in the School of International Service at American University.
