Meredith Glueck

- Meredith Glueck joined the Center staff in August 2011 as Program Manager. She has an MA in Latin American Studies and is a doctoral candidate in History at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds research experience in Brazil, Ecuador, and Mexico, examining a wide range of issues-street vendors, tourism, race and region in Bahia, Brazil, environmental and human rights for rural Afro-Ecuadorian communities, and Mexican mineworkers in the 1940s. She was awarded a Tinker field research grant and Fulbright IIE award (Brazil). Previously, Meredith worked at the Environmental Defense Fund and was a volunteer counselor at the D.C. Rape Crisis Center.
