Marianne Huger Thomson serves as the Executive Director of Academic Student Services and Access. She leads the Academic Support and Access Center (ASAC). In this role, Dr. Thomson oversees academic support resources, disability services, and the student-athlete support program. Prior to her role in the ASAC, Dr. Thomson served as Associate Dean of Students for Orientation, Transition, and Retention, Interim Director of Disability Support Services, and Assistant Dean of Students.
In addition, Dr. Thomson teaches as an Adjunct Instructor at The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Prior to joining American University, Dr. Thomson served as the Director of Disability Services at Georgetown University Law Center.
