Perry Landesberg is the Assistant to the Dean of SPExS. He supports the Dean’s various duties, including implementing executive decisions, assessing new initiatives, measuring and reporting results, and aligning SPExS’s mission, values, and approach across all programs and departments.
Prior to joining SPExS, Perry served as Assistant to the Chief of Staff at the World Resources Institute, and before that, as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at SMK Paloh Hinai in Pahang, Malaysia. He previously served at the US Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and at the the EU-Ukraine Business Council in Brussels, Belgium. He worked for two years at the business intelligence firm Hanover Research, and before that, for four years at American University's International Student & Scholar Services office.
Perry is a New York native, and graduated from American University in 2012 with a BA in International Affairs and a minor in International Business.
Perry is an insatiable traveler, and enjoys sharing the geopolitical/historical angle on anywhere he goes. He also loves foreign films, and can often be found at embassy events and cultural festivals outside of work hours.
