Amanda Rahimi

- Dr. Amanda Rahimi received her doctorate from George Mason University’s Clinical Psychology program. She serves as a Staff Clinician at American University’s Counseling Center where she works with students in individual and group counseling. Prior to joining AU’s Counseling Center, she provided counseling services at The Catholic University of America, Children’s National Medical Center, and community mental health agencies. Her special interests include integrative therapy, women’s mental health issues, cultural identity development, body image and eating disorders, bereavement, outreach, and clinical training.
