Rachel Lindsey advises undergraduate students in AU’s nationally-ranked School of Public Affairs. In this capacity, she guides students through the process of finding and applying for challenging and fulfilling career and internship opportunities. She also provides pre-law advising for all AU students, including strategies for choosing and applying to law school.
Rachel is a student-centered higher education and career development professional, passionate about career development, and higher education. Career counseling, advocacy, academic advising, recruitment and training, and staff development are all part of her 10+ years of experience in higher education and student services.
Rachel’s work also includes extensive experience serving multinational undergraduate and graduate students, veterans, and entry level and mid-career professionals with academic advising and job search and execution needs. Her specialties include: College access and success, advising, coaching, training, strategic planning, program planning and management, community outreach, student engagement, multicultural competency, and social justice.
