Bio
Ronit Rosen joined the HR/Payroll Help team in HR Service Delivery in early July 2018, with primary responsibility to assist employees and department representatives with recently updated Eagle Service systems and time entry processes. She works with colleagues to provide information and solutions to the AU Community. In 2010, Ronit worked at American University as an Interim Study Abroad Advisor, advising students planning to study abroad in the summer, fall and academic year programs, conducting Pre-Departure Orientations and updating online program listings in her portfolio of programs/countries. She enjoys helping others achieve their educational and professional goals and was thrilled to be a part of the AU Abroad office team and is very excited to return to AU.

Ronit’s recent background includes over six years working with directors and advisors at higher education institutions, as they implemented and launched a multi-portal online study abroad/international exchange software platform. She conducted thousands of hours of virtual and in-person training, implementation project management, Webinars and related support while also assisting with adding new features and functionality.

Ronit’s passion for international exchange was sparked during a Freshman Year Leadership program studying, working and volunteering in Israel. She later organized her own experiences, working and studying in France for a total of three years. Ronit has worked in the field for organizations such as AIPT/IAESTE U.S. (now Cultural Vistas), Youth for Understanding (YFU), American Councils and Hosteling International. She has taught English to non-native speakers, including teaching high school students in France on a French Ministry of Education/WVU exchange program, and to K-12, college and adult students. Ronit has taught French language to students at the university and high school levels.

She looks forward to becoming involved in the enriching educational and professional activities offered on and around campus as well as continuing to help members of the AU Community.
