Gregg Sangillo is an online writer in university communications. He writes articles for the university homepage, spotlighting noteworthy programs, research, and achievements on campus. Sangillo was previously managing editor for The Almanac of American Politics. In that position, he wrote and edited profiles of members of Congress, governors, and the states and districts that they represent. As a reporter with National Journal, he authored stories on a wide range of topics, including abortion, gay rights, and race relations, and profiled key decision makers in Washington. A native of suburban Philadelphia, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from West Chester University and a master’s degree in political science-international relations from University of Pennsylvania.
