Shannon is professionally and personally committed to supporting AI/AN/NH higher education opportunities. “I have seen firsthand how the WINS experience can positively change a student ’s outlook on their role in Indian Country. WINS alumni can be counted on to provide a holistic understanding of creating change not only in their home community but also on a national level, for all of Indian Country. For this reason, I can think of no better advocacy role than that of the WINS Assistant Director. I have the honor of supporting the future leaders of Indian Country and our Nation. “
