• Scott D. Howard is Case Manager in the Office of the Dean of Students. Scott works closely with students to foster academic and personal success by collaborating with faculty and building support networks on campus and in the community. The Office of the Dean of Students supports student learning through programs and services that promote growth and development, communicate the values and standards of the AU community, and advocate for students' needs.
  
  Students who are experiencing difficulties such as hospitalization, injury, extended illness, family problems, or mental health concerns are encouraged to contact Scott to discuss how the Office of the Dean of Students may be able to provide support.
  
  Scott brings ten years of experience as an advisor and instructor to AU. In his previous role as Undergraduate Ombudsman at the University of Massachusetts, Scott served as a confidential dispute-resolution resource and led students to long-term academic and personal success.
