Tom is currently completing his doctorate in clinical psychology at Adler University in Chicago, IL. His previous clinical training included positions at two university counseling centers as well as community mental health, prison aftercare, elementary, and high school settings in Chicago. Tom also has additional clinical training and work experience in geriatric long-term care. He approaches counseling using integrative, psychodynamic, relational, and constructivist perspectives. Clinical interests include identity development, adjustment issues, anxiety disorders, relationship problems, men’s issues, trauma, and loss. Additional interests include psychotherapy integration, mindfulness, parenting, spirituality, and cross-cultural psychology. Tom also maintains his credential as a registered art therapist (ATR).
