Dr. Paula Warrick has directed the Office of Merit Awards since 1999 and is a firm believer in the rewards of the application process, including the chance to develop more realistic career goals and close relationships with faculty. Paula advises master's degree-level students, as well as select upperclassmen. Paula also oversees the mentoring of university nominees for the Truman and Goldwater Scholarships, as well as the Mitchell, Marshall, and Rhodes Scholarships.
Paula has served on the executive board of the National Association of Fellowships Advisors (NAFA) since 2003 and served as NAFA’s president from 2007-2009. She taught art history for more than fifteen years, most recently as an adjunct professor of Liberal Studies at Georgetown University.
