  • Kelly Wiechart is Language Specialist at the Institute on Disability and Public Policy. She also holds appointments as Adjunct Instructor in TESOL (CAS) and International Communication (SIS). She is currently a doctoral student at Indiana University with a major in Literacy Culture Language Education and a minor in Instructional Systems Technology.  She has extensive experience teaching Rhetoric, Composition, and Literature at the high school and college levels in both traditional face-to-face and distributed learning environments. She currently specializes in curriculum design for English for Specific Purposes in Higher Ed and professional trainings.    Her research interests include multiliteracies,  situated cognition, the use of technology in reaching underserved populations in language learning,  eLearning , mLearning, and gaming in language education.
