International Peace and Conflict Resolution
Brittany is a second year Master’s Candidate in International Peace and Conflict Resolution. Her studies focus on youth and peace education. She is an active member of the student group Creative Peace Initiatives, where she works with other students on a number of peace education and youth based projects. She is one of Amnesty International’s DC Student Area Coordinators. This spring she is interning with the American Friends Service Committee DC Human Rights Learning Program, where she will facilitate human rights based curriculum in a DC public school. Additionally, she will be serving as a Peace Mover with Dance4Peace where she will teach movement-based peace education. She is originally from Ohio, where she received her undergraduate degree in International Relations and Political Science from Bowling Green State University.
