International Peace and Conflict Resolution

• Originally from rural Nebraska, I earned a bachelor of journalism in advertising from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in May 2003. After graduation, I spent a year teaching English in Thailand as a Young Adult in Global Mission for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Back in the U.S., I put my degree to use as an account manager for a graphic design and web development company in Lincoln, NE. I later had the opportunity to work in ministry with college students on UN-L's campus with the Lutheran Student Center.
  
  I chose AU in part because of its unique dual-degree program with Wesley Theological Seminary. I am interested in the role of religious leaders as local peacebuilders. My regional focus is Southeast Asia.
