Don Irwin

IMAJ: Interdisc Std: Comm, Legal Inst, Econ, Govt

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at American University in Washington, D.C. The CLEG degree is one of the core majors offered by the School of Public Affairs and consists of Communications, Law, Economics, and Government. In addition, I am pursuing an International Business Minor. I am focusing my studies on public and government affairs as well as international trade and development.

Professionally, I have sought opportunities that allowed me to both hone my expertise in communications as well as expand my knowledge of international trade and development. Having also interned at a small-business trade association, I possess an understanding of legislative affairs and member services.

On campus I have been heavily invested in a handful of clubs and activities since my freshman year. I have been active as the School of Public Affairs Leadership Program's New Media Coordinator, Roosevelt Institute's Outreach Director, Delta Tau Delta's Director of Academic Affairs, and as a Student Government Senator.
