Felipe Herrera
International Studies: PF (BA)
Felipe Herrera is a third-year student in the School of International Service where he is studying peace, global security, and conflict resolution with a regional focus on Latin America. His research has primarily focused on US foreign policy towards Cuba and the design of game theoretic models to conceptualize violence and nonviolence in civil conflict. His game theory research is currently being published in SIR's Journal of International Relations. In previous semesters, he has worked as an intern for the Washington Office on Latin America's Cuba program, front desk assistant for Human Rights Watch, and has published a number of commentary, opinion, and satire pieces in The Rival AU. He also serves his peers as President of the SIS Undergraduate Council, Associate Vice President of the AU Student Government, and Professional Chair of Delta Phi Epsilon
