Jean Cornell

IMAJ: Political Science

Jean is from Mount Laurel, New Jersey and is a second year at American University, studying political science.  She currently interns in Senator Robert Menendez's office in Washington DC.  She previously interned at EMILY's List in the major gifts department.<br /><br />Jean is heavily involved with the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Program (HOBY).  She was an ambassador to the New Jersey state site in 2008 and attended the World Leadership Congress (WLC) in 2008.  She has volunteered as a Team Alumni member and a junior facilitator in 2009, 2010, and 2011 at the New Jersey site.<br /><br />She is a volunteer at the Alice Paul Institute (API) in Mount Laurel and has worked there since 2004.  She was a founding member of the Girls Advisory Council and spoke at the first and second Alice Paul Institute Equality Awards dinners.
