International Affairs: United States Foreign Policy
John D. Mateus is a Master of International Affairs Candidate at the School of International Service focusing on U.S. foreign policy issues in the Europe/Eurasia region.
In May 2008, John graduated from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and history. After graduation, John worked at Brown University’s Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies for two years as the Research Assistant in charge of Project ACT. This project examined the role that significant others may play in reducing problem drinking. Last August, John began studying US foreign policy at American University and hopes to pursue a career in international affairs policy planning and
