• Kris Lugo is a doctoral student in the Department of Justice, Law, and Society with concentrations in justice and comparative politics. Her main research interests include human trafficking and other human rights issues, access to justice, and criminal justice system development/reform in comparative perspective. Prior to re-joining the academic community, she had a career in human resources and marketing management in the private sector.
