Nadeen Makhlouf is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Public Administration and Policy. Her research interests include global governance and comparative public policy and administration with a focus on North Africa and the Middle East. The overall objective of her dissertation is to develop an overarching framework for understanding the relationship between lower-middle income countries and international development organizations, with particular attention on the issue of food security in Egypt.
Nadeen received her Masters degree in Public Policy from American University and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland.
