Richard Takacs

Public Administration (PhD)

Rich Takacs is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Public Administration and Policy at American University. His research interests center on urban policy issues including affordable housing, food availability, school quality, economic development, sustainable urban planning and collaborative governance. Prior to his graduate studies, Rich served 10 years in the United States Army and worked as a data scientist at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
