Sean Dugdale

IMAJ: International Studies

Sean Dugdale is Research Assistant at The 100,000 Strong Foundation. Before joining the foundation, Mr. Dugdale worked in China and the US, both in politics on the Hill and for global non-profits, including Friends of Nature and Kiwanis International. He is an alumnus of four government-sponsored language initiatives: the National Language Security Initiative for youth (NSLI-Y), Critical Language Scholarship (CLS), Flagship Chinese Institute (FCI), and the Boren Scholarship. Mr. Dugdale is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, working as a freelance translator and dual-language copy-editor. A strong supporter of academic research, he is editor-in-chief of Clocks&Clouds: Journal of National and Global Affairs. He has received research grants for his work in global water security and environmental issues in China. He is currently working on a B.A. in International Studies and B.A. in East Asian Studies at American University in DC.
