Tanvi Purohit

Tanvi Purohit is a third-year undergraduate student at American University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, with a concentration in Policy, and a minor in Communications. Originally from Princeton, NJ, Tanvi's career interests include policy, political journalism, and a potential law degree. She hopes to contribute to improving criminal justice policies, and is interested in urban, gender, and minority politics. She joined the Justice Programs Office in September 2015, and has previously worked on Capitol Hill, and for various non-profits. Tanvi's other interests include travel, writing, and music.
