Yuzzy Dubuisson

Yuzzy "Gaina" Dubuisson is originally from Haiti and resides in Levittown Pennsylvania with her family. She is a junior in the School of International Service at American University in Washington D.C. She is working towards a BA in International Studies with a concentration in Latin America and Development. Gaina is the president of the youth ministry at her home church, Healing Center Community Church.
Gaina is the Co-founder of Minority Women’s Initiative; an organization founded in Pennsylvania for economically disadvantaged young women. The organization works to encourage the pursuit of higher education for minority women through mentorship and monthly seminars. She is also a founding member of “Haiti in Transition (H.i.T)”, a youth lead non-profit organization that is registered to operate in both the United States and Haiti as a 501(c ) 3 with the mission of unifying  and empowering the Haitian youth in Haiti, while initiating projects that promote a positive image of Haiti to the world.
