Welcome!

AU Scholars is a first-year living-learning program for students who seek academic challenges that lead them to confront the complex issues of our time. Students work collaboratively with faculty and students in other AU Scholars seminars to investigate historical, societal, or controversial issues that focus on a thematic area. In the spring, interdisciplinary teams of scholars will pursue a research, experiential, or creative project that will be an extension of their fall thematic experience. The AU Scholars program is designed for students who may want to pursue an Honors in the Major.
